MASS Q&A Panel Night

MASS’ inaugural Q&A Panel Event provided students insight into the dynamic and evolving industry workspace.

Serving as an opportunity for students to engage with industry leaders and pioneers, the panel event served as a brilliant opportunity for students to enrich their studies and gain insight into the complex issues facing the actuarial profession.

In conjunction with the Monash Business School, MASS hosted prominent industry figures from AIA, Medibank, Mercer, Willis Towers Watson and Trustee Partners to share with students their broad range of experiences and discuss the pressing issues facing the industry today.

The night was a great success, with the panellists providing thought-provoking discussion on topics such as superannuation, Big Data and ethics. Students were engaged throughout and many jumped at the chance to participate and contribute their own ideas.

Following this, there was further networking over drinks and canapes, with the previous atmosphere providing plenty of topics for a stimulating and enlightening conversation with sponsor representatives.

The night closed a great success, with students having an invaluable opportunity to mingle amongst industry figures and gain the knowledge and skills they’re unable to acquire in a classroom.
