The Monash Uni Shakespeare Society presents 'the Maid's Tragedy', a seventeenth-century tale of revenge that caused such a stir when it premiered with its lethal dose of sex, suicide, love, murder and cross-dressing, that it was banned by royalty and still carries a potent punch today.
