Proxy Appointment and Apologies
Proxy Deadline: 12.00pm, Friday 12 September 2025
If the club President is not able to attend the C&S (Adjourned) AGM 02/25 they may opt to appoint a valid proxy to attend in their place with this nomination being any Ordinary member (Clayton student) of the club. The proxied attendee does not need to be a Top 4 committee member.
If no-one from the club is able to attend the meeting, please submit a
Council Apology in a timely manner before the meeting. All apologies should be submitted using the formal C&S Council Apology Form
Please note: any registrations, proxy nominations or apologies that were submitted for the meeting that took place on Monday 8 September are no longer valid.
Important Things to Note
C&S Council meetings are an important opportunity for clubs to hear about and be involved with the future direction of club life at Monash Clayton. We understand that schedules don’t always align but if a club President is not able to attend the adjourned AGM, please consider the proxy nomination process and have a suitable club member attend the meeting as an alternative.
This meeting is expected to go for at least 1.5 hours, possibly longer. The person attending on behalf of the club (President or valid Proxy) should be available between 12.00pm and 2.00pm. To ensure the meeting begins as close to the scheduled start time as possible, punctual attendance is requested. Registration will begin at 11.30am.
Failure by a club to be represented at a General Meeting is misconduct under §7.1.1.(v) of the C&S Constitution.
