"MANA" means spirit and power that ties all Pacific Islands and we believe in unity across various cultures in Monash University.

We are representatives of the Pacific Islands in Monash University. This club has been created to allow everyone, not only in our Pacific community but across different cultures in Monash to be connected.

Aims & Objectives

The purpose of the Club is to advance the education of the students of Monash University by—

(1) Providing a support system for all current and future Monash Pacific Island students by helping them build relationships with other students of similar backgrounds and experiences.

(2) Fostering Pacific Island students to become agents and catalysts of change for the younger generation in our Pacific island nations and Pacific families here in Australia.

(3) Providing students with opportunities to learn and be educated of the different and unique cultures of our Pacific people and help break any racial barriers or stereotypes that may exist.

(4) Raising awareness and facilitating discussions on campus about major issues that affect Pacific Island nations such as Climate change and any other issues of interest to the MANA society.
