The Monash Student Association and the Clubs & Societies Division are committed to providing safe events for Monash students. And a tool that has been implemented to assist clubs in the facilitation of such events is the BRIGHT workshop.
BRIGHT is a peer-led, interactive training session aimed at supporting respectful relationships and gender equality in our community. During this session you'll learn about gender-based violence, how to recognise harmful behaviour and how you can intervene safely if you notice it.
If your club is considering running an off-campus event it is a compulsory requirement for the workshop to be completed by event managers and leaders.
