ABOUT THE CLUB

The Economics Student Society of Australia was founded at Monash in 2013. It is now the largest economics society of its kind in Australia, spanning across Melbourne and Monash universities. We constantly strive to push the boundaries on what a student society can achieve – to engage with members, to give them a voice, and to connect students, professionals and academics. We’re passionate about economics, and we look forward to sharing that passion with you!

ESSA strives to be the point of difference in your University experience through uniting theory and reality. We innovatively connect like-minded students together to ignite a passionate economics community that is more informed, engaged and aware of the breadth of opportunities and unique multidisciplinary relevance of economics.
