ABOUT THE CLUB

Monash Fashion and Beauty Appreciation Society aims to foster a diverse community of students from all genders, ethnicities and degrees who share a common passion for all things fashion and beauty. As well as promoting an image of self-confidence and awareness by using fashion and beauty as a means of self-expression and individuality, FABSOC hopes to illuminate their application to the community and society, particularly as an advocate for ethical supply chain and procurement. We aspire to educate all university students on ways to be environmentally-friendly and socially-conscious shoppers, without having to compromise our passion for fashion and beauty.

FABSOC offers an interactive and engaging platform to inspire and mentor students interested in pursuing careers in the creative fashion and beauty industry, by combining their passion with their current degree, or in exploring their passion outside their degree. Members are able to capitalise on sponsorship resources, tools and opportunities to connect with like-minded students, industry professionals, and guest speakers.

Coupling an online presence with on campus events and street style, FABSOC collaborates with Lot’s Wife to bring regular campus fashion updates. Members can expect exclusive invitations and giveaways for events such as Careers Events, Beauty and Styling Workshops, Runway Shows, Clothing Swaps and online competitions. Some of our sponsors and special supporters have included, Daniel Wellington Watches, Thank you, Go-To Skin Care, Curtis Collection by Victoria, Shanghai Suzy, Face of Australia, Sukin Australian Natural Skincare, L’Oréal, Myer, Sox HQ and many more!
