C&S Council AGM 03/23 and Executive Elections

The Annual General Meeting 03/23 of the Clubs & Societies Council has been called for 1.30pm on Wednesday 6 September 2023 to be held in Room S10, Building 25, Monash University, Clayton Campus. This meeting will be held in-person only with no Zoom attendance available.
Notice of 2023 AGM
The primary business of the meeting is to receive the 2023 Office Bearers reports, conduct an election of the C&S Executive - the position/s of C&S President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and (5) General Representatives and also consider proposed changes to the C&S Constitution.
The meeting’s agenda will be advised in due course. Any club President wishing to add items to the agenda should forward the details to the C&S Secretary, secretary@monashclubs.org, no later than 3.00pm, Thursday 31 August 2023.

Office Bearer Nomination Form
To view and complete the Office Bearer Nomination Form please click here. Nominees are welcome to consider submitting a policy document of up to 500 words length to support their nomination, noting that this submission is optional.
All nominations are due on or before 3.00pm, Thursday 31 August 2023
Attendance Registration
To register the attendance of a club President (or their valid proxy) for the C&S Council AGM 03/23, please click on this link: Registration Form.
Proxy Appointment and Apologies
Club Presidents may opt to appoint a valid proxy to attend the C&S AGM with this nomination being any Ordinary member (Clayton student) of the club. To appoint a proxy please click on this link: Proxy Appointment Form noting that all proxy nominations must be received no later than 1.30pm, Sunday 3 September 2023 in order to be considered.
If no-one from the club is able to attend the meeting, please submit a Council Apology in a timely manner before the meeting.
Important Things to Note
This meeting is expected to go for at least 1 hour and 30 minutes, if not longer. The person attending on behalf of the club (President or valid Proxy) should be available between 1.00pm and 4.00pm.
To ensure the meeting begins as close to the scheduled start time as possible, punctual attendance is requested. Registration will begin at 1.00pm.
Failure by a club to be represented at a General Meeting is misconduct under §7.1.1.(v) of the C&S Constitution.
