Aims & Objectives
(i) To promote an interest in resource engineering and all disciplines relevant to the resources and minerals industry;
(ii) To provide students with the opportunity to interact with resources professionals by hosting industry events such as seminars and career information sessions;
(iii) To provide a forum for all students interested in resources to converse and share experiences pertaining to the resources industry;
(iv) To encourage students to participate in hosted extra-curricular and co-curricular activities to develop and improve interpersonal skills, increase personal confidence and create networks both with fellow students and industry professionals; and
(v) To create a social platform for experienced senior students to mentor new or less experienced students in course progression (specifically students enrolled in the new Bachelor of Resources Engineering) and offer friendship, support and guidance
